Forest Coalpit Pork

Forest Coalpit Farm in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park specialise in rearing their own breed of free-range, high welfare Welsh Black pigs – a cross between a large black and Duroc. These rare breed pigs grow much slower and longer, developing more intra-muscular fat which produces a flavourful, succulent pork with an impressive fat covering.

They provide a natural, all outdoor environment for their pigs to express natural behaviours such as rooting, snuffling and foraging in the ground, resulting in incredible tasting pork and some stunning marbling.
