The Role We are seeking an experienced Poultry Butcher to join our team. The role involves breaking down whole poultry, deboning, and portioning cuts to customer specifications. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will ensure high standards of quality and food safety are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Poultry Preparation: Debone and portion whole poultry, ensuring precise cuts to meet customer specifications. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality for all poultry products. Food Safety: Adhere to HACCP and food safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently and adapt as needed. The Candidate Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in poultry butchery, including deboning and portioning. Skills: Proficient in all aspects of poultry butchery with excellent attention to detail. Attributes: Positive attitude, physically fit, and comfortable working in a chilled environment with early starts and weekend shifts.
