Sean Mckinley Farms

Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland.

All the cattle on the farm are homebred Aberdeen Angus, with replacements being bred on the farm and only stock bulls being purchased for breeding. The cattle graze on the lush Northern Irish grass overlooking the North Channel from March to October.

The animals are fed concentrates of homegrown silage and locally grown barley during winter months when the grass has been exhausted. They are then fattened off grass and barley the following summer months before being slaughtered around 22-28 months old.
