Boneless Unsmoked Gammon

Our main pig breed is a Hampshire cross Duroc. These pigs are crossed due to their ability to withstand the British weather, but also for their fat covering and tender meat-eating qualities.

The pigs are free-range and are born and spend their whole lives outside, overlooking the South Downs and the Brighton coastline. They are fed on a natural diet, free of growth promotors or growth hormones, that consists primarily of cereal (wheat and barley), with minerals and vitamins making up the rest.

CHRISTMAS 'PEAK WEEK'

During the ‘peak week’ before Christmas (20th to 24th December), all orders for delivery will be charged with a £10 delivery fee, regardless of basket value. During this week, all orders for delivery will be subject to a minimum basket value of £100.

Due to increased order volumes during ‘peak week’, orders will be delivered either with one of our own drivers in HG Walter branded vans, or with our trusted courier service (DPD). Please note that our delivery hours during this time are broadened and you can expect your delivery between 7am and 7pm. Please make sure there is someone at your delivery address to receive the delivery during these hours.

LOCAL DELIVERY

We deliver to postcodes within London and the M25 Monday to Saturday and offer next day delivery on orders place before 12pm. To see if you are eligible for local delivery, please input your postcode at checkout, or check it's eligibility below. If your postcode is not valid, please select our nationwide delivery service.

Our minimum basket value is £40 and orders under £60 will be charged an £8.50 delivery fee. Orders over £60 qualify for free delivery, after discount codes or discounts are applied.

Our local delivery service, run by our HG Walter branded vans, will be delivered between 7am and 4pm.

Due to capacity, there may be days in the calendar year where our cut off time for next day delivery changes or delivery days are made unavailable. Please note, deliveries during the Christmas period and other peak times will incur an increased delivery fee.

Please note, some items require 48 hours’ notice and will not be available for next day delivery. This information will be visible in the product description.

STORE PICKUP

Orders can be collected at any time during our opening hours. Times may vary at peak times and during bank holidays, so please check before coming to the shop. Please make sure you have your order number to hand and the name under which the order was made. 

NATIONWIDE DELIVERY

We deliver to postcodes throughout the UK (except Highlands and Islands) 4 days a week, from Tuesday to Friday. We offer next day delivery on orders placed before 12pm.

Our minimum basket value is £40 and orders under £60 will be charged a £8.50 delivery fee. Orders over £60 qualify for free delivery, after discount codes or discounts are applied.

Premium delivery times slot will incur an increased delivery fee.

Our nationwide delivery service is run by UPS, with guaranteed delivery by 1pm. You will receive a notification with a narrowed time slot for your delivery.
