Lamb ribs are a richly flavoured cut with a generous covering of meat and fat, making them particularly rewarding when cooked low and slow. As they cook, the fat renders and the meat softens, creating tender ribs with plenty of flavour.
Sourced from free-range Suffolk-Texel cross lambs reared in Cornwall, they are carefully prepared by our butchers and supplied ready to cook.
Ideal for marinades and glazes, lamb ribs work particularly well with bold flavours such as honey, soy and gochujang. Roast slowly before finishing in a hot oven or on the barbecue to caramelise the exterior and crisp the edges.
Our lamb is free range and comes from Launceston in Cornwall. Our most common breed is a Suffolk Texel cross. These animals have been reared in the West Country, to the highest welfare standards.
