This chef-made broth starts with grass-fed British beef bones, slow-cooked with onions, carrots, garlic, tomato paste and thyme until they have given up their collagen. That collagen, typically 5g a pouch, is what gives it body in a pan sauce or a gravy.
Pour the broth into the pan after a steak and reduce it to a sauce, stir it into gravy, or make it the base of a soup. Or heat it and drink it from a mug on a cold evening to fight the lurgy.
One 330g pouch makes a bowl, with 6.6g of protein and 43 calories. Heat thoroughly until piping hot. Keep refrigerated at 0-5°C and use by the date on the pack, or freeze on the day of purchase for up to 6 months and use within 48 hours of defrosting. Produced on a site that handles all 14 major allergens.
We also make a handmade 500ml beef stock, simmered with fresh vegetables and herbs under pressure for 12 hours, then reduced.
