Prepared from free-range British pork, this boneless gammon is lightly cured and gently smoked, giving it a subtle smokiness that complements the natural flavour of the meat. The result is a succulent joint with a rich savoury character, ideal for roasting or simmering.

Our pork comes from Hampshire cross Duroc and Large White pigs reared outdoors in Suffolk and on the South Downs. These breeds are selected for their excellent flavour, tenderness and eating quality.

A traditional centrepiece for celebrations and family gatherings, smoked gammon is equally enjoyable served hot or sliced cold for sandwiches, salads and leftovers in the days that follow. Pair with a honey, mustard or marmalade glaze for a classic finish.

Gammon Sizing
Half boneless gammon: approximately 2.5kg
Whole boneless gammon: approximately 5kg

Gammon Size Cooking Time
2.25kg Boil for 80 minutes. Leave to cool in cooking liquor for 60 minutes
4.5kg Boil for 120 minutes. Leave to cool in cooking liquor for 60 minutes

Our main pig breed is a Hampshire cross Duroc. These pigs are crossed due to their ability to withstand the British weather, but also for their fat covering and tender meat-eating qualities.

The pigs are free-range and are born and spend their whole lives outside, overlooking the South Downs and the Brighton coastline. They are fed on a natural diet, free of growth promotors or growth hormones, that consists primarily of cereal (wheat and barley), with minerals and vitamins making up the rest.
